Wow so you’re going to have a baby, if it’s the first one you’ve had its exciting. But also a time where you’re frightened and trying to get everything set up you need. There are many items that you can buy yourself, but others that people will get for you. Baby showers are a great way to get a lot of the things ready for your young child’s arrival.
Here are something’s that you should make sure that you think of getting yourself. Or doing a registry at a local store for these items. If you plan on breast feeding your baby, you can’t go wrong with an electric breast pump. It’s something that you can use when you aren’t too busy and stock up on that breast milk.
Something that will come in quite handy when it comes to bath time is a baby bath. These smaller things are something you will be able to place into your sink, and safely clean your baby. Allowing you or your husband to feel safe when its bath time and still letting you get them perfectly clean too.
While older children will be moved into the larger baths, you need something to keep them busy. Something that they can play with, that’s why you need baby bath toys. Things like little boats, ducky’s, and whatever else you can think of.
A great way to interact with your young child, and help them learn things. As you play with the boat, making a noise, and telling them what the item is. They will learn, and one day may surprise you by asking for the boat to play with. Or even making the noise as you start to play with the item.
One of the toys you pick out may well turn out to be something that is their favorite thing through life. A little boy, who has a little tug boat to play with, may grow up with a fascination of the sea.
Make sure as you search for items that you pick up things that are safe for your child. Getting things ahead will never hurt because the time will go by quickly. One day you will be sitting there thinking where did all the time go. Remembering back to their first bath or first word.
Enjoy it while you can when they are young, and prepare with safety in mind. Remember that you have neutral colors that you can use if you’re not sure what sex of child you will be having.
